I'm an experienced audio producer, writer, creative thinker, and pop-culture/political scholar with a curious mind and a critical eye. I have a genuine and long-standing passion for podcasting and intelligent media.
Producer, Radio and TV (On-Air Fundraising)
2010 - present
Created, spearheaded, and produced hundreds of fundraising spots and segments for 89.7, WGBH (news), 99.5, WCRB (classical), and WGBH television. The spots - written, sound designed, edited, and sometimes voiced by me - promoted special events, pledge drives, membership campaigns, and so on and raised millions of dollars for one of the biggest names in public media.
On-air talent and producer for pledge drives on both radio and television
I've written copy, developed creative strategies, directed voice talent, selected music and sound effects, edited and mixed audio in Cubase, and made edits based on departmental strategies
I have also developed and produced several pilots for a proposed WGBH podcast network (still in development) including Love & Monsters (a sci-fi/fan culture podcast in the style of Studio 360); Stories From The Stage (a Moth-meets-Radiolab remix of audio from our monthly live storytelling night); and What's On Tap?
